Year of the Ox
January 27, 2009
The second animal who arrived was the serious, enduring and hard-working Ox.
The Ox is the sign of prosperity through fortitude and hard work. As one might guess, such people are dependable, calm and modest. Like his animal namesake, the Ox is unswervingly patient, tireless in his work, and capable of enduring any amount of hardship without complaint.
The ox person needs peace and quiet to work through his/her ideas, and when he/she has set his/her mind on something it is hard for him/her to be convinced otherwise. The ox person has a very logical mind and is extremely systematic in whatever he/she does, in spite of a total lack of imagination. He/she can be very stubborn, and difficult to dissuade once he/she decides on something. These people speak little, but are intelligent, and when necessary, they are both articulate and eloquent.
Ox people are observant; they have remarkable memories and are good at reporting on absolutely everything they observe. Ox people are mentally and physically alert. Generally easy-going, they can be remarkably stubborn, and they hate to fail or be opposed.
Positive: The Ox can be patient, contemplative, skilful, dexterous, eloquent, confident, familiar, authoritative, industrious and sure of foot.
Negative: The Ox can also be prejudice, chauvinistic, proud, tyrannical, petty, critical, eccentric, bigoted, conservative, grumpy and on occasion violent.
THE OX LOVER
Oxen dislike chit-chat. They don’t have fun at parties and as aforementioned, don’t have a ton of friends. They are not very sociable and would rather be spending their time at home with their families. When the Ox is in love, he does not confirm his feelings verbally, preferring to show you how he feels rather than tell you. An Ox will take a long time to decide if you are the right match for him because Oxen hate change, and want to find someone who is ready to embark upon a stable marriage. Oxen never rush into anything and are not flirtatious people. Once they have committed to you they will usually be faithful and expect reciprocation of their honorable actions.
SCORPIO OX
Determination and strong will characterize the Scorpio Ox. These Oxen will strive and do whatever they must in order to reach their goal. They are intense lovers, but you’ll never be able to read their emotions because they keep them tucked away.
waiting. . .
January 12, 2009i have proven to myself that waiting is next to nothing..
walang mangyayri kung mag wait ka na lang palagi at walang gagawin..
its better that you did something rather than nothing at all..
there would be regrets and “what if’s?…”
walang mawawala sa inyo kung susubukan mo..
why wait? if you can do something about it..
all it takes is for you to take action, accompanied by risks..
My Eon Card
January 8, 2009Atlast, it has been more than a year since I wanted to get an eon card for my paypal. But now I finally have my very own eon card from Unionbank. I applied during the Christmas break so that I would get it at the start of the year, something new to add to my personal belongings.
I was so thrilled when I saw my debit card, I can’t believe that I’m finally getting to have one, since my other classmates already had there’s a long time ago. It did not take them a year to get one. Atleast I got to be patient and finally procured one of my own.

clean up (let go of the old and in with the new)
support a good cause (share your blessings)
Have a superb and fruitful year.
New Year: buy something new
January 4, 2009
This might seem a bit too extravagant; buy something new to mark the year. It can be anything; a book or magazine, a pair of shoes, a shirt, jewelries, gadgets, anything! A new year is something to celebrate and you can mark the start of the year by something you bought. Think of the start of the year as another birthday. This year is another chance to start over. This item can be a reward, a pat on the back for your hard work, or it can be a resolution to improve an aspect of your life.
Whatever the thing is, it should have meaning for you, something that, when you look at some ten years later, will remind you of a great year that held much promise.
