Plato asked Socrates, what is love?

Socrates said: go to a wheatfield and get the
most special leaf that you can find

Plato returned with no leaf with him

Plato said:
i found a special leaf but i did not pick it up
because i might find a more special one..
but while i was still looking
i did not find any
so i returned to the one that i found
but when i returned to it, it was gone

Socrates said:
people always look for the best,
and when they finally see it,
we take it for granted
expecting to find a better one,
not knowing that it was the best..
